Maxvolt Energy Accelerates Green Innovation with New Lithium Battery Recycling Plant Announcement

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Maxvolt Energy Industries Limited—one of India’s fastest-growing lithium battery technology companies—announced a bold step toward sustainability with the proposed launch of a cutting-edge lithium battery recycling and repurposing facility in NCR or Western Uttar Pradesh. Spanning up to 25,000 sq. m., the plant will operate in close proximity to Maxvolt’s Ghaziabad manufacturing unit, ensuring supply chain efficiency and operational synergy.

This strategic expansion, aligned with Maxvolt’s Phase 2 growth plan, reflects the company’s commitment to minimizing environmental impact, reducing reliance on imported lithium, and fostering a circular economy. With a nationwide battery take-back programme covering over 85% of India and advanced tech like Active Balancer Systems and Smart Battery Controls, Maxvolt has positioned itself as a clean energy trailblazer—achieving ₹107 crore revenue in FY 2024–25. The new facility will further strengthen India's EV and energy storage systems (ESS) ecosystem while setting benchmarks in responsible innovation and sustainability.
