Maxvolt Energy Advances Circular Economy Vision with New Lithium Battery Recycling Plant Announcement on World Environment Day
Maxvolt Energy Industries Limited, a leading NSE-listed lithium battery technology company, marked World Environment Day with a major sustainability-driven announcement: the launch of a new lithium battery recycling and repurposing facility in NCR or Western Uttar Pradesh. With land acquisition underway for a 22,000–25,000 sq. m. site near its existing Ghaziabad unit, the plant will streamline operations and fortify Maxvolt’s mission to reduce reliance on imported lithium and build a circular battery economy.
As part of its Phase 2 growth strategy, Maxvolt is scaling up its battery take-back and reuse programme—already covering 85% of India’s pin codes—while expanding ESS battery production for solar and grid-scale solutions. With innovative technologies like Active Balancer Systems and Smart Battery Control, and a revenue milestone of ₹107 crore in FY 2024–25, Maxvolt is shaping India’s clean energy future through integrated production, reuse, and recycling.
